The company my dress was ordered from went bankrupt before I received it and Valentina's made sure that no matter what happened I would be wearing the dress I purchased down the aisle. Thankfully my dress came in and we didn't have to worry any longer, but they made sure I was well informed throughout the whole process.

Visiting Ontario from Vancouver I happened to be in Waterloo for a few days. While roaming around the city, I stumbled upon this gem. I'm engaged to be married in June of next year and hadn't' really started looking for a dress super seriously, but walking by the store I thought "heck, why not". I walked in without an appointment and was greeted by Simona. She was all alone and had a bride in for a fitting. Despite that, she made me feel welcome and let me look around. I found a few dresses that caught my eye and I tried them on. There were two in particular that I fell in love with. One of them was way too big for me and would need massive alterations. Simona encouraged me to come back the next day and speak to their seamstress so I did just that. She also turned out to be very helpful and after this second visit I decided to keep my options open. I took one final look around and spotted a completely different third dress. After trying it on I knew it was the one. Simona made it work within my budget and the next day it was mine. I would highly recommend Valentina to any bride looking for great service and a beautiful dress thats reasonably prices. Thanks ladies. Best, Ewa

Excellent Bridal shop!
I had been to 6 different shops in and around the Tri-Cities and finally found my dress here! Aimee had a great selection of dresses in comparison to the other shops I had been to and her pricing was very reasonable as well.
Although I found quiet a few different dresses that I liked at her shop, I did end up finding 'the one' which was exactly what I was looking for!
Aimee was friendly, knowledgable, and accommodating. Especially since I went on very short notice (called when I was 20 minutes away). I also appreciated her pinning up the extra fabric as I tried on different dresses. It makes such a huge difference when you have someone helping you visualize what the dress might look like once altered or ordered in your size. She also understands the alterations and can help you visualize not only how the dress will look once altered, but what altering will need to be done (as well as costs associated). Having a background in sewing I do understand what will go into alterations but it was still a breath of fresh air to work with someone that understands that process as some of the other shops I had been to were giving me false information and not understanding that part of the process. I also found their alteration pricing to be very reasonable.
All in all - great selection, friendly & knowledgable staff and reasonable pricing.
Would definitely recommend making Valentina's one of your stops for trying on wedding dresses!

Aimee was creative and had great design sense. She had a clear idea about the aesthetic I was going for. I picked a dress from the sale rack that was in my budget and she suggested several alterations, some rather radical to make the dress that suited me perfectly. I was a bit nervous about how it would turn out as the desired end result was so different from the original dress but Aimee and her seamatress, Lee exceeded my expectations. The dress was my dream and I received many compliments on how well it fit and reflected my style. I very highly recommend Valentina bridal.

I had been wedding dress shopping for a few months when I stepped into Valentina's for the first time. I was greeted by Simona who was very friendly. We were the only ones in the store for an hour and a half on a Friday afternoon until closing. From trying on about 8 dresses, we narrowed down the selection to 2 dresses that she entered into my file. I returned to Valentina's on two more occasions - once by myself to try on those dresses again and the last time with my family. It was fate that Simona was running the store every time I went, and I was so happy to tell her (when it was time) that we had found the dress! She showed me how to choose hairpieces and other accessories that would match the dress. I described my ideal veil to her, and although they did not have the right veil in store, she said that she would keep her eyes open as new stock arrives! I am so pleased with the level of service and attentiveness I received from Valentina's. The dress is expected to take 8 months to ship, so I can't wait to see it. Thank you Simona!

Easy 5 stars! Great selection, and the staff are fantastic; warm, accommodating, and knowledgable. I genuinely enjoyed each trip to the store. The seamstress did a wonderful job, tailoring my dress (spent hours, to get it perfect), and the environment is very intimate; almost like trying on your dream dress in a friends home.
